How Do I Call the API?

Free checks read raw HTML, like most AI crawlers. If a site refuses a normal fetch, the check may load the page once in a headless browser just to read it (no screenshots; fetched_via is then browser). Returns JSON: score (0–100, scored on raw HTML, i.e. what most AI crawlers see), grade, categories.{seo,aeo,geo}, stats (words, text_ratio), render (status: skipped on free checks), and rendered (always null on free checks), each with score and items[] ({id,label,status: pass|warn|fail, score, weight, detail, fix}). Errors return {"error": "..."} with HTTP 400/502. Each item includes a plain-English why; fixes holds copy-paste code snippets (top 3 free, the rest marked tier: full_report).

Privacy: checks are private by default and results are never published. Each check also returns a share link (Share Your Score): a signed URL with a preview image that shows only the domain and its scores. Nothing is stored. The badge field reports status: "private"; the badge endpoints return a neutral image unless a full-report buyer makes their homepage badge public.
